Technical description

These fixed monitors, designed for the most demanding emergency interventions, deliver a powerful and constant flow to quickly control fires. Their versatility, thanks to the possibility of using water or foam, makes them suitable for a wide range of situations.

  • Working pressure:  8 Bar / 116PSI; 8 Bar / 116PSI; 8 Bar / 116PSI
  • Fixed flow rate: 1440 l/m; 1920 l/m; 2880 l/m
  • Max range (water) : ≥53m ; ≥60m, ≥65m
  • Max range (foam) : ≥48m, ≥55m, ≥60m
  • Horizontal travel : 0°~360°
  • Travel Integration : -45°~+75°
  • Max working area: from straight jet to 120° jet
  • Jet type: straight or diffused jet
  • Monitor input: 2,5” (or higher on request)
  • Monitor output: 2,5 "
  • Weight: 11 kg
  • Materials : Anodized aluminum alloy (monitor body and head); stainless steel (handle)
  • Flow rate tolerance: + 10%
  • Info (foam) : foam expansion: ≥6 times; / Settling time 25% at (20°C): ≥2.5 min

Fields of application:

  • Fire Fighting: Protection of industrial buildings, warehouses, oil platforms, etc.
  • Rescue operations: Cooling of structures, clearing of debris.

Foam expansion:

The 6x foam expansion allows for more surface area coverage with less product. The 2,5 minute settling time indicates how long the foam will remain effective. The foam provides several benefits when using the monitor

  • Choking: The foam forms an insulating layer on the surface of the fuel, preventing oxygen from the air from coming into contact with the flames. This deprives the fire of its essential oxidant and smothers it.
  • Cooling: The water in the foam helps to cool the fuel, which significantly reduces the temperature and thus slows down the combustion reaction.
  • Insulation: The foam creates a physical barrier that prevents the spread of flames and smoke.
  • Reduction of vapors: For flammable liquids, the foam forms a barrier that prevents vapors from escaping and re-igniting.
  • Protection of assets: Foam limits water damage because it uses less water than conventional water jets.
